Renowned Wolf River Lodge Auction Recap

It turned out to be a gorgeous day come auction day, and it was a good thing to, the day before the rains looked like they weren't going to let off. The entire setup had to be done the morning of the sale due to the weather, and the fact that there just wasn't enough room in the lodge to accommodate a large crown. Attempts to set up a tent were shortened the day before as well due in part to the wind storm that came with the rains. But the rains parted and come Saturday morning the Lodge was a buzz with activity. With an auction start of 10:30am, it gave us just enough time to get everything out of the lodge and onto the granite parking lot for display. Some items drew much interest, one in particular was the Gibson Ukulele  UKE-1, drawing in two phone bidders from across the country, and a host of emails. despite it having about a 3 inch crack in the back, the Uke finally sold to a happy bidder in the crowd for $375.00. Below is a small portion of the sale, taken at no particular order, just a few random shots of the day and the items!
